The Jimny's genuine leading and trailing arms are made of relatively inexpensive cast iron, which can bend or, in the worst case, break during aggressive off-road driving. A broken arm not only prevents the vehicle from moving properly on the road surface, but can also cause the coil spring to detach or the propeller shaft to come loose, leading to the risk of tipping over or becoming inoperable.

The H.D. trailing arm body is made of robust drawn carbon steel pipe (STKM11S), boasting high strength with a shear force approximately 20 times the axle load.

Both the left and right arms have bosses welded on for jacking up, just like the original arms. The rear arms also have embedded nuts for securing the brake hoses, just like the original arms.
